A little bit "urban" for my taste, but as always Ms Murphy lifts it to another plane... Jx

I agree with you Jon! :)
I can't wait for |Ró to release some solo stuff though!

I love it. Hard hitting beat and interesting lyrics (you don't wanna be putting your hands in her pockets!).

I actually very much like it. I bought it off BeatPort yesterday, and I don't agree with it being called dubstep (somewhere). It's very much like an Overpowered b-side.

Not bad:)

It is a bit urban but not in the same way as Demon Lover, which I adore. Still good song!

I personally think it's one of La Murphy's best collaborations to date. So glad this is out finally, as good as her tracks with The Crookers!!! Pure genius and I was worried already a bit when I heard this utterly awful song with The Feeling, I mean what was she thinking? I pretend it doesn't exist. The track with Toddla T is ace, I'd love an urban album or at least EP from her!!!

Dance for the Lights is, indeed, horrendous. Not unexpectedly, given that it's The Feeling we're talking about, and nobody on this earth can salvage their music. But in the end she only did some sort of backing vocals on that track, so i'm willing to pretend it doesn't exist.

Cherry Picking, on the other hand, is brilliant.

why pretend Dance for the Lights doesn't exist?
I can't believe she would ever do colloborations she wouldn't absolutely like to do, so it's just part of her artistic identity as other songs.

But of course i agree with you that Cherry Picking is a very fine one that suits her well.

it's got good production and a "cool" vibe, for lack of a better word. it's not bad. but i think she can go deeper than that.

On the tune, I shall echo with "what Jon said".

On another hand...

Dear Hopeless Optimist,

I don't know if you read ALL of the comments, but I would just like to thank you for keeping the site up. I almost feel like a fraud [Roisin fan] for not having dived in here for a while, but life got busy (let's leave it at that). THEN to dip in and find all these goodies and news - amazing. x

I think the song is there. Production could use beefing up and some tweeking on arrangment. Emphaisis on the power ofkick drums to match the words vitality. Strings and hard middle section would be great.

HUGE MISS. I wish she worked with Herbert again.

It sounds a bit like M.I.A. with production by Switch or Diplo. Not vocally but in the music, something like "Do Ya" or "Elastic Love". I definitely dig it, I love Roisin so much I can't wait for the new album!

quality is crap... song itself is not so grazy that your earlier hot stuff... anyway I think it is a great song and gonna be thousands of people favourite song!

Hope the next version of Visual Studio will make cherry picking merges much better. Saying it's too complicated is the exact need for a robus technical solution. It's not like this stuff is theoretically impossible and someone in Redmond's probably already figured out an algorithm.
