Yellow Moon review
The European-Cuban collaboration album The Revolution Presents Revolution is released in the US today and the UK next week and features the Marius DeVries & Roisin Murphy song Yellow Moon.
Here's what Pop Matters has to say about the song, which was leaked on the Internet several weeks ago:
Roisin Murphy scores a highlight with her contribution. With Marius DeVries' relaxed, jazz-infused lounge production, Murphy turns melancholy rather than sexual, and it’s the right move.

News from the Toddla studio
Some more news on the new album!
Roisin has gone back to the city that shaped her musical roots and is working with Sheffield producer Toddla T. Here is what he writes on his official site:
Been in studio with Roisin Murphy last coupla days makin some propa sheffiiieellll mussssssic
She has a new look.. strong look
Personally I can't wait to hear the outcome of the collaboration, as Toddla's remix of You Know Me Better is one of my favourite Roisin remixes. Last year I spoke to Toddla T and he told me how exited he was about remixing a Roisin track (link).

Mother dear
A lovely picture of Roisin and her mother at the Life Ball in Vienna last month. I have always wondered if the song Mother (on the Moloko album Things To Make And Do) is autobiographical for Roisin, but this picture makes me believe it's not.

Thanks to Betty!
Turn up the bass
If you're into very heavy bass (and I mean heavy) then check out this video of Roisin performing the Loose Cannons remix of Overpowered at the Rodarte dinner last week.

Selfridges & Co
On Saturday, Roisin dressed up in a overall and was a guest DJ at Selfridges & Co in London. The famous department store celebrates its centenary this year.
